Residential life is active with 91% of students living in college housing. Housing options range from the brand-new apartment-style dorm due to open this summer to converted historic mansion homes. Students may also choose to take part in one of Endicott’s living and learning communities like Go Green, EmpoweHER, or Gull Leadership. Sports are a large part of campus life at Endicott where students are often participating in or supporting one of the school's DIII teams who have won over 120 championships.

Academic Programs and Career Preparation

The college prides itself on its liberal arts core curriculum and a commitment to experiential learning. Students are deeply immersed in internships and hands-on experiences integral to preparing them for their future careers. The curriculum at Endicott emphasizes the significance of a thesis project, ensuring that all students engage deeply in research and practical application of knowledge. With seven distinct schools offering various disciplines, students have the flexibility to begin major-specific courses in their freshman year, providing an early focus on their chosen field of study or the ability to change their minds and move onto a new major early in their college years.

Internships hold significant importance at Endicott, with students required to complete a minimum of three during their academic journey.  Endicott integrates internship experiences directly into its credit system, offering 2 credits for freshman and sophomore internships and 12 credits for senior internships. These internships play a pivotal role in job placement, with 29% of graduates securing employment through these experiences. Endicott is proud of their 99% job placement rate.

Admissions

Endicott College follows a holistic admissions process through its own application rather than the CommonApp. Applicants can use the same essay for the Endicott application as they do for the CommonApp. While an interview is not mandatory, it's highly recommended for students invested in understanding the college better. Endicott remains test-optional, reflecting an inclusive approach to admissions. Nursing is Endicott's most competitive major and typically enrolls just 130 students out of 1100 applicants. Strong science grades and healthcare experience are advantageous for aspiring nursing students. Endicott encourages applicants to apply to a specific school within the college, although students retain the flexibility to change majors and schools with the help of their academic advisors.

Student Support and Resources

Endicott emphasizes small class sizes, ensuring a personalized learning experience, with 61% of classes accommodating fewer than 20 students. The college houses a Center for Teaching and Learning that offers peer and professional tutoring services. Moreover, the College Coaching program provides learning specialists who meet with students regularly, offering tailored academic support.

It is apparent that Endicott College is an institution that values both academic excellence and real-world experiences. With its stunning location, commitment to experiential learning, and diverse academic programs, it stands as an ideal choice for students seeking a well-rounded higher education experience.
